Of course, but the only benefit from using 27 health would be from Healing Breeze. Since you will only be taking 2 damage instead of 5, that way the regen will beable to handle more hits.

Apparently Dark Aura becomes your damage dealer and you spam a couple of low energy, fast recharge sac spells like BotM and Dark Pact to trigger it (see the build on PvX). HM AI scatter would make this little more than a party trick, but's its refreshing to see some lateral thinking. A novelty build yes, but it won't replace a SS or SV 55.

Necrosis might be good for killing stuff, tho you need to hex things first. It doesnt require any attribute points tho. This way you could run into huuuge mobs that dont have interrupts or enchant remover and spam Necrosis on the boss. Ofc you need a max SS title to do 80 or so.

[skill]Enfeebling Blood[/skill] and then [skill]Necrosis[/skill] works well on melee, doesn't it? (has no experience with 55-ing)

No.
Monster A without any buffs/debuffs deals 90 dmg, prot spirit reduces it to 5.
Monster B with Weakness deals 31 dmg, prot spirit reduces it to 5.
You see a difference?

Yeah, I just chose a hex with relatively low cost and recharge, so it can be kept up constantly while Necrosis kills them.

Hex is harder to remove than a condition, plus it can be something like Insidious Parasite, which both makes you harder to kill and at the same time slowly kills enemy. Or Suffering, if you REALLY want AoE spell.
And he said ,,melee'', so I thought that he wanted some kind of condition against melee's.
